The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler has a new competition network (tube fin) with the dimensions 590 mm x 425 mm x 65 mm. This corresponds to an external network volume of 16.3 liters. The WagnerTuning Competition intercooler for the VW Amarok therefore offers 81% more external network volume than the original intercooler.
The cast aluminum end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations (for an ideal internal airflow). With the help of an air duct incorporated in the interior of the radiator inlet, the charge air cooler network is evenly filled. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. In addition, the newly developed competition high-performance network still provides the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, with sufficient air flow and is also very light. Optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
An anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity protects the WAGNERTUNING intercooler from any environmental influences, which can guarantee a permanent and optimal cooling effect. The assembly takes place at the original attachment points and is easy to carry out (plug and play). All of our products are subject to constant qualitative monitoring.
